The Ludnomicon

This informational poster is a visual representation of my entire board game collection, with detailed information about 31 different games. The data represents my personal feelings about game theme, complexity and overall quality. It also contains objective information such as average game length and number of possible players. The Ludnomicon is accompanied by a set of cards that contain more detailed information about each of these games.

In order to create this graphic, I had to work with a large amount of numerical data, with elements of the graphic representing many different variables at once. Each data point on the graph below compares complexity, theme, ranking, game length and number of players. I used a modular system of cards to further break down the mechanics used in each game's design. This format will allow me to add more cards in the future as I acquire new and even wackier games.
